The Ling Liang World-Wide Evangelistic Mission Association (LLWWEMA) represents a family of churches anchored in Jesus' declaration in John 6:35: 'I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.' Ling Liang are the two phonetic Chinese words that have as their English equivalent 'spiritual food' or 'bread of life.' Founded by Dr. Rev. Timothy Dzao in 1942 in Shanghai, China, the Ling Liang World-Wide Evangelistic Mission Association currently consists of three districts (Hong Kong, Indonesia, and North America). There are also other Ling Liang churches in Australia, India, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
